The Constitution’s Safeguards
The three branches of government were designed by our Founders to protect liberty and prevent any one part from becoming too powerful.
Legislative Branch (Congress)
Makes the laws. Its job is to represent the people and protect our rights through careful lawmaking.
Executive Branch (President)
Carries out the laws. It must operate within the limits set by the Constitution and never exceed its authority.
Judicial Branch (Courts)
Interprets the laws. It must uphold the Constitution as written and protect individual liberties from government overreach.
Closing Paragraph:
When each branch stays within its constitutional role, our freedoms remain secure. This is the foundation of our Republic and the key to protecting our kids’ future.
